Thanksgiving is a time to express gratitude and give thanks. Although Thanksgiving may be celebrated slightly different this year, there is still so much for us to be thankful for. Recently we asked the BWC team what they are thankful for this year. Check out everyone's responses below!
I am thankful to have been born in America where the only determination of one’s success is yourself.
I am grateful for my two boys and my family.
I am thankful for my co-workers for helping navigate through these unprecedented times.
2020 has been a crazy year, but there is still so much to be thankful for, maybe now more than ever. This year has taught me to appreciate all the little things in life that we sometimes take for granted. I am thankful for all those closest to me and their health, a great job with an amazing team at Beirne Wealth, passing my Series 65 license exam earlier this year, and all of our clients that are part of the Beirne Wealth family!
2020 has been a year of much uncertainty & to say I am thankful would be an understatement. I am so grateful for my career with supportive team members who have been there throughout, for the roof over our heads that we call home & for the health of my family and friends. This year has taught us a lot, but one thing I believe we can all agree on is ‘the most important things in life, are not things.’
I’m thankful for my husband Bruce, my daughters, my pets, and a visit with my brother Oscar, after he recovered from COVID-19.

Despite 2020 being as crazy of a year that it has been, there is still many things that I am thankful for. I am thankful for my family, boyfriend and my friends and all their health. I have still been able to spend time with the people I love and was even fortunate enough to take a “COVID-19 friendly” trip to Rhode Island with my family this summer. I am also extremely thankful for my career and working alongside a team of motivated and supportive individuals who have made these difficult times manageable.
I am thankful for my brother and being able to enjoy the outdoors together.
Despite the craziness this year, I have so much to be thankful for, not the least of which is the continued good health of myself and my family. I’m also grateful I was able to sit for and pass the CFP exam after it was delayed due to COVID-19, for being offered a position with the incredible team at Beirne Wealth, and to be employed during a time when so many have lost their jobs around the world. And maybe most of all, I’m thankful for this new chapter as my husband transitions out of the Navy and we are able to enjoy time together we did not have before. This year has definitely reminded us to appreciate life’s blessings, large and small.
