Lindsey Allard Wins Women Who Mean Business Award

New Haven BIZ has announced the six winners of its 2020 Women Who Mean Business awards, which recognize outstanding achievement by female leaders throughout the region.

As executives, entrepreneurs and leaders, women play a more important role in the economy and the public life of New Haven and Connecticut than ever before. While there are thousands of female leaders, and their numbers are growing daily, some stand out from the crowd because of their achievements and commitment to lead by example and encourage others on the path to success.

The second annual awards program generated a multitude of nominations for many worthy women who excel in their fields.

New Haven BIZ honored the achievements of these six women at a virtual event that took place on November 17, 2020 including a live panel discussion moderated by KeyBank.

The Women Who Mean Business Awards of New Haven honors women each year from various

industries and professions. The honorees are women who have made a difference in their communities, blazed a trail for others and are leaving an indelible mark on business in New Haven. Candidates for this award were nominated and the completion of an application by a community member and no fees were paid. Approximately 30 submissions were received for consideration.
